Sanskrit Prastavah

Sriperumbudur Sanskrit College  A small Patashala with 12 students commenced teaching around the year 1870. This emerged as the Ubhaya Vedanta Vardhini alias Sriperumbudur Sanskrit College in 1890 with Sri Singam Chetty Ateendrooloo Chetty as the first President of the college committee. He graciously donated the entire amount for purchasing land and putting up an impressive structure to house the college.
